The second chapter of legendary Magicka is nowhere, and it has players coming down from the ruined Aldrheim, in a Midgård that’s been left without Wizards, who’ve all perished in the Wizard Wars. The very few that have remained are either completely mad, or hostile with the rest.

In this world of evil, it’s up to the four Wizards and Vlad, their guide, to go from one part of Midgård to the other in an attempt to liberate the land of the bad spells. Using the spellcasting features, players take on the roles of overpowered and unpredictable, yet funny, Wizards that have ever been made for a fantasy game.

- A new way to learn spells - With some of the elements of Magicka 1 making a comeback, like Ice or Steam, as well as the very new Poison, you’re going to have to learn the spells all over again. New spells, combined with the old, will give you immense powers.

- Wizarding - Taking the role of a powerful Wizard comes at a cost. With 1000s of spells to master, you will have to experiment to see what works for you. Takedown the foes and help your team when needed, as you progress through the story.

- Custom Wizard - Choose your staff, the ideal robe, and the set of weapons that will make you into the best Wizard you can be. Wreak havoc with the creatures of the dark in your true fashion.
