The game is mainly based on actual physics, science, and data. For example, although you can build your spacecraft from parts, it can fly or not based on how well you have built it. Once you launch the Kerbal crew into space, you must keep them alive for them to be able to explore planets and moons from the solar system, as well as erect bases for you to explore further.
There are three available gameplay modes in Kerbal Space Program. Science Mode allows you to perform experiments in space, in which you will find new technologies that will let you further advance the intelligence of the Kerbalkind. Career mode lets you oversee the space program itself, constructing new bases, strategizing over their role, funding new projects, upgrading older ones, the list goes on. Finally, Sandbox lets you build the spacecraft that you desire, and do whatever you want with it. It is freeing!
Features of Kerbal Space Program
- Build - Create your own spacecraft, rockets, and vehicles from the varied catalogue of parts, each of which comes with their features and functions.
- Control - Make sure you are in full control of your ship, and setup, so that you can execute the very complex maneuvers while flying them for a successful trip.
- Discover - There's a whole new star system out there for you to explore, complete with planets, their moons, as well as other space objects.
-Explore - Send the Kerbals out of their ships in order to engage them in activities on the soil of a newly discovered planet. Go with extreme caution on these extravehicular activities.
-Manage - Kerbals can be hired, trained, and then sent into space for missions. Turn simple Kerbals, with the help of pristine managing, into the heroes of tomorrow.
